PRE-K TO 2ND GRADE WACKY OLYMPICSThe Wacky Olympics which took place on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 had our Pre-K to 2nd graders bouncing off the walls with energy and excitement, turning every moment into a whirlwind of fun since the last one that was held in 2020. MS MATHCOUNT Team Dominates State RoundCongratulations to our middle school MATHCOUNTS team, Noah Kim (8th grade), Offeia Yordy (8th grade), Youngjae Suh (7th grade), and Donggeon Kim (7th grade) for finishing 1st place at the State Round of the MATHCOUNTS competition series held on Saturday, March 23. Noah will be representing Guam on the national team with 3 others on May 8-14. Additionally, Jack Suh (8th grade) and Derrick Yan (6th grade) finished in the top 10. (Read More)

Mes CHamoru 2024 ConcludesOur Mes CHamoru celebration concluded on Friday, March 22, highlighting CHamoru song and dance performances by our special guest performers, the Mahiga Dance Academy. Sports Day ReturnsOn March 22, 2024, St. John’s School hosted its first Sports Day since 2019, organized by the St. John’s Parent Teacher Association. The theme of the event drew inspiration from the legendary tales of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Reflecting this theme, the school’s houses were each named after prominent figures from Arthurian legend, with the Purple House embodying the spirit of King Arthur himself.

IB Music Night: Finale 2024St. John’s IB Music higher-level seniors Kelvin Lee, Hyunjin Kim, AJ Morales, and Seohee Min exhibited their proficiency in contemporary music creation, including composing and arranging, during IB Music Night: The Finale. IB Art Exhibition 2024: Chasing ObscuritySt. John's School “Chasing Obscurity - IB Art Exhibition 2024” officially opened on Saturday, March 16 at the Lees-Reyes Art Gallery, located on the second floor of Tumon Sands Plaza. The exhibition features artwork produced by St. John’s upper school seniors, Maeva Conroy, Addie Cruz, Luke Jang, Liam Rocco Padua, and Michelle Puangco, showcasing and representing the culmination of their two years of intensive art studio studies in the IBDP Visual Arts program. Young Artists Competition 2024Eight St. John’s students did exceptionally well in their respective divisions at the annual Young Artists Competition held on January 23rd and 24th, 2024. The competition was held at the University of Guam Fine Arts Theater and welcomed young musicians aged 6-24, all vying for placements within their age division. (Read More)
