St. John’s maintains a list of approved substitutes in each division and invites your interest. Please submit a resume, faculty/staff application, and compliance with St. John’s Police and Court clearance policies. The rate of payment for substitute teaching is $80.00 per day for a full day for non-certified teachers and $100 per day for a full day for certified teachers.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
St. John’s salary and benefits are regionally competitive. All staff and faculty are eligible to subscribe to a medical/dental plan offered. Supplemental insurance is also available via a third party provider.
Full time employees are eligible to receive a 60 percent tuition remission (discount) for faculty and staff children.
We offer a 401K savings plan and a Flexible Benefits Program/Cafeteria Plan. Our Cafeteria plan allows for employees to use any amount of the benefit to purchase qualified benefits. Employees can reduce the amount of taxable income and can allow for income tax-free reimbursement of certain qualified expenses including daycare/preschool, after-school expenses and other qualified health care costs not covered by insurance.
