St. John’s is a vibrant and diverse community. There are many opportunities for students, parents, and our community to learn and grow.
St. John’s provides opportunities, both within and outside of school, for students to develop socially, physically, and psychologically. The opportunity to develop leadership skills, a strong sense of ethics, and an appreciation about the world and our environment are fostered in student organizations such as Student Council, Asia-Pacific International Club, Environmental Club, and United Nations Club, to name a few. The St. John’s award winning Classical Orchestra and Glee Club, in addition to Drama Club, Tri-M and Academic Challenge Bowl build upon the student’s interest in the performing arts or academic subjects.
Students may elect to participate in seasonal league sports such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, and golf, to name a few. Swimming is offered year-round to St. John’s students, parents, faculty, and alum.
The Parent-Teacher-Association hosts annual events such as the Red and White festival, 5-k and Sports Day activities, all of which bring students, families, and corporate partners together.
The Faculty Staff Council, Technology Committee, and Spirit Committee also provide a forum to share information on school policy, provide opportunities for professional development, and networking among faculty, staff, students, and parents.
