Long-Standing Tradition
St. John's School has a long history with science fairs. The Islandwide Science Fair held annually at the University of Guam is one of these many science fairs that St. John's students participate in. This year alone, twenty St. John's students placed in the Islandwide Science Fair. However, students are not limited to science fairs on Guam. Every year, students present their projects to people in countries across the world from Japan to Malaysia. These trips are accompanied by some of the school's science teachers, and together, they meet with many different students. It is a great experience for everyone involved.
Past Winners
The science fair is a great learning experience. I recommend others to participate in the island wide science fair because you never know if you will place. Off-island science fair trips in particular are very fun! You get to encounter new people and new cultures.

It was a fun, engaging opportunity provided for us to connect with other brilliant students all over the world. I was both impressed and inspired by the idea of my fellow students. The local cultures are fun and interesting to see.
