SENIOR MEMORIES

Senior / K-5 Walk

The Seniors and Kindergarten students walked together hand in hand into the gym for the first All-School Chapel of the school year. The Seniors met the students before hand and got to talk with them for a little bit in order to get to know them before they walked together into the school gym. It was a great way to bridge the gap between the youngest members of our school to the oldest members of our school and was a heartfelt moment for all who participated.

A Parting Gift

As a lasting mark for the school, some of the Seniors on behalf of the Senior Class planted trees along the sidewalk from our lower school building to the school pool. This is a nice things for the Seniors to do since the trees will grow and help make our school look very nice.

The Seniors Last Chapel

The senior’s last chapel was a very nice event. It was an all-school chapel and held in our school gym. The chapel started off with an opening song and some seniors in red robes walked with a cross, bible and the shields representing our school. Afterwards, there was a reading from a senior, a homily from our pastor, and others songs were sung. One of the songs was a song dedicated to the seniors where everyone except the seniors sang it. It was a very nice way of showing their appreciation towards them. The chapel finished off with a closing blessing and song. Overall, the chapel was very nice and good way to help conclude the seniors final days at our school.

The Last Day of School

The Last Day of schools for seniors was a really nice day. There were many class parties that took place throughout the school day with some fun activities taking place in some of the classes. At the end of the day, the seniors walked across the campus and ended at our school’s elementary building. Afterwards, the students ate ice cream.
When asked what her final thoughts on the last day of school were, Bailey said,  “Bittersweet is how I would describe my last official day of high school.   Since the start of senior year, I have been anticipating this day.  Excitement was my primary emotion up until we had our senior procession about the school.  It was then that I realized that this was the start of transitioning to a new chapter of my life."
