Summer Knights Online Program 2020
The Summer Knights Program welcomes incoming students in Kinder - 12th grade. There are 4 different camps, Kinder Prep, Lower School, Middle and Upper School Camp, and an English Academy. The camps offer students an environment that embraces a unique balance of academic challenges, creative activities, and social interaction, while interweaving Guam’s culture and history.

REGISTRATION
*Registrations for course(s) will only be accepted ONLINE. Registration will be on-going through Wednesday, May 27, 2020 - Wednesday, June 17, 2020.
*All students must register online to enroll in the SJS Summer Knights Online Program. Please complete one form per child. Course Fees: *All courses will run for 5 weeks $150.00 USD - 1 course $275.00 USD - 2 courses $400.00 USD - 3 courses 1. Student Schedule *This form is used to register for the student's online course for Summer 2020. *The course selection(s) is not a guarantee but a request. *A tentative schedule and invoice will be sent to the email provided. Enrollment will not be confirmed until full payment is received. *Class size is limited and prompt submission of registration form & payment is highly encouraged. *A copy of the student's passport / birth certificate must be submitted. 2. Changes to schedule / Refund *No course changes will be permitted for SJS Summer Knight Online Program. *Refund: A 100% refund for SJS Summer Knights Online Program courses will only be given after a formal request is given within 36 hours after payment is received. No refunds will be given after 36 hours of receiving full payment. 3. Late Registration *Course registration will close on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. Please email the summer school coordinator if you would like to register your child after the registration period is closed. If there is space available in a desired course, a one time late registration fee of $50 will be assessed. 4. Policy and Procedures *Attendance - Attendance will be taken daily. It is the responsibility of the student and/or parent to notify the instructor of absence(s). All classes will be recorded and uploaded to the class google site for reference. No make-up sessions or refund will be given for absences. *Classes are not provided on holidays. We will observe the following local holidays during the session. July 3, 2020 (in observance of Independence Day) and July 21, 2020 (in observance of Guam Liberation Day) *Students are expected to log into the respective course no more than 5 minutes before the class begins. Students must be on time and prepared to learn. 5. Required Documents: (All documents must be submitted in order for the student to attend class) *Completed SJS Summer Knights Online Program registration form. *Student’s Birth Certificate or Passport 6. Required Technology: *Students must provide their own device. The device must have the updated version of google meets. *Internet speed of 10Mbps download / 5Mbps upload is important to maintain a smooth class session. You can check your internet speed: www.speedtest.net. *All devices must have the following apps installed:

*Students in 5th - 12th grade must have a basic understanding of the functions of Google Meets, Google Suites features (Google Classroom, google docs & slides)
*All non-SJS students will be issued an email address that must be used for all class communication, google meets, and work submissions.
-Students in Kinder - 4th grade WILL NOT have email access with their established account, it will be used to log in to Seesaw and Google Meets.
-Students in 5th - 12th grade WILL have email access with their established account, it will also be used to log in to Google Classroom and Meet.
7. Forms of payment:
We will accept check, and credit card (VISA and Mastercard) payments. Please note that your credit card will automatically be charged a 3% fee. You may either make payments by walking in or mailing a check to our Business Office, or you may click on the link below to download our credit card authorization form and send it via email.
8. Attire:
Students must dress appropriately for each online class meeting. Clothing with inappropriate images and/or words are not allowed.
9. Medical Issues:
Please inform the summer school coordinator if your child has a medical issue.
10. SJS Technology Acceptable Use Policy
*All non-SJS students will be issued an email address that must be used for all class communication, google meets, and work submissions.
