- Beginning the week of August 25, we will be back to regular chapel schedule, with Middle School having the first Wednesday chapel in the church on September 1, 2010. Bishop Fitzpatrick will be here next week. Anyone wanting to speak with him, please make an appointment with the chaplain.
- • Students: Please review casual day dress rules on p.17 in your planner. (note: shorts & skirts cannot be shorter than 3" above the knee.) – P.Bennett

- Wanted! Costumes, Costumes, Costumes! The Drama Department needs to rebuild their costume department. If you have any old costumes that you would love to give a new home to, we can sure use them. - The International Coastal Cleanup is scheduled for Saturday September 25, 2010 from 7am~11am at Tanguisson Beach Park. We will be collecting data and recording it with PADI project aware. See Ms. Hieter for more information, shieter@stjohnsguam.com

- Tokyo Trip 2010: This year again, Mrs. Bordallo and Harada sensei will lead the trip to Japan during Thaksgiving break. If you are interested, please pick up the form from room 201. The cost of the trip is $1,150, and the form due date is on 9/2/10. This is a good chance to use your Japanese skill! Arigatoo - senseis
- Japanese Club Casual Day on 8/27: Jananese Club members will visit classrooms during first period. Students, please contribute $1 if you would like to wear casual clothes. Arigatoo - senseis
- The Environmental Club meets every Tuesday at lunch in Mr. Pearson's room (US 104). Volunteers are needed all days after school to help out with recycling. Juniors and Seniors should keep track of their hours for CAS credit. I will sign off on this at the END of each month. - Mr Pearson
- On August 27, 2010, Mars will make its closest approach to earth in 60,000 years...nah. But it is true that on that day the UN Club will hold its first meeting in room 105 ( by the pottery room) at 12:20 lunchtime. All interested US students are welcomed to attend. – Rebecca Leon Guerrero
- Attention Upper School Students: There will be a Paws-4-Life organizational meeting on Friday at lunch in my office. New members are welcome to attend. Thanks, Mrs. Edwards
- GLEE CLUB or LES CHANTEURS: All upper school students who love to sing and are interested in joining, rehearsals are on Saturdays from 11-12. This will count in your CAS credit and you'll be a total asset to the choir. See you there!!! - Ricky Vergara
