Dear Parents, Alumni, and Friends of St. John’s School:
As most of you know, our school began humbly in September of 1962 serving kindergarten through 4th grade in two Quonset huts. I know that those forward-thinking founders would be supremely proud of St. John’s School today.
In celebration of our 60 years, we are inviting everyone to join us at a Gala dinner on Saturday, October 15, in our gymnasium. The theme for the evening is Starry Knights, and we hope that all current and former knight stars will show up and shine. We will enjoy the talents of our Glee Club and Orchestra students, bid in a silent auction for works created by our art students, and raffle off door prizes donated by our star supporters.
The cost for our gala dinner is $150 for each person or $1500 for a table of ten. Proceeds from the evening will help to provide scholarships for Guam students with the potential to shine at St. John’s.
Attached to this mailing is a support pledge form explaining all of the ways that you can get involved in this very special celebration. I hope that you will get out your party clothes and plan to join us.
Thank you!
Pat Bennett
Head of School
