Welcome from the Head of School

Picture
Thank you for your interest in St. John’s School.  Whether you are considering enrollment for your children or are a friend or alumnus reconnecting with our school.  I hope you find the information that you need on these pages.

Since 1962, St. John’s School has provided the highest quality, college preparatory education on Guam.  We take pride in that legacy, and we feel the responsibility of maintaining that standard.

St. John’s Lower School builds the foundation that will lead to strong performance in the years to come.  Our young learners experience the joy of learning as they build strong, lasting relationships with others.  The Middle School years continue the alignment of skill acquisition, building confidence and self-discipline.  Students expand their knowledge in the core subject areas and their skills in the arts, athletics, and technology.   Our Upper School students pursue programs that lead to success in International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement courses.  It is our goal to help them prepare for and enroll in the colleges and universities that are perfect for their skills and their future plans.

Values of service and social responsibility are emphasized throughout a student’s experience at St. John’s.  With our diverse student population, respect and appreciation for every individual’s culture and faith define our purpose.

Our excellent faculty, small class sizes, close knit community, and rigorous curriculum are the components of St. John’s success. Our students score well above average on national standardized tests and bring recognition to our school with their accomplishments locally, nationally, and internationally.

Please contact me if you would like a personal tour or would like to arrange a visitation day for a potential student.  We welcome your inquiries.
