STEWARDSHIP & SUPPORT FOR OUR SJS STUDENTS
We appreciate the day-to-day contributions faculty and staff have already made to help provide rich, life-changing experiences for our St. John's School students. Extending your contributions to include philanthropy is another way to show your stewardship for the school, and your beliefs in the St. John's mission, the work we do, and most importantly, in the students we educate. Over the past few years, we have worked hard to ensure that we live within our means, paying for all school operations with our tuition income. While tuition takes care of today, planning for future growth relies on the generosity of our school community. |
As we begin a new annual giving campaign, we turn first to our faculty and staff members to build a base for support. If each of us pledges even a small amount, we demonstrate to our families that St. John’s School means more to us than a job. We impact the future. We show our students, parents, and alumni that we believe in our school.
WAYS TO GIVE
CAPITAL GIVING
Improvements and expansion to the school’s facilities are ongoing priorities because our facilities must continue to provide the environment and tools necessary to fulfill the school's program objectives. Giving designated for facilities improvements and expansions are considered capital gifts.
ENDOWMENT GIVING
Endowment giving is an important measure of our strength as a school. The income generated by endowments provides added resources to strengthen academic programs, award more generous financial aid, and maintain and update our facilities.
SCHOLARSHIPS/TUITION ASSISTANCE
It is our vision that all students who are accepted by St. John's School will not be turned away simply from an inability to pay for tuition. Scholarships are critical to providing need-based aid to qualifying students. Scholarship giving can be designated towards the scholarship program that will be combined with other gifts to ensure that those who yearn for an excellent education can come and learn at St . John's School.
